Prepare for a career as a licensed professional counselor.
At Regis College, our Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program prepares compassionate, culturally responsive counselors to meet the growing demand for mental health care. Whether your focus is Clinical Mental Health or Addictions Counseling, this 60-credit program equips you with the advanced clinical skills, cultural awareness, and ethical grounding to succeed.
With a flexible hybrid format, including evening, weekend, on-campus, and online options, the MAC program is designed for both working professionals and full-time graduate students. From day one, you’ll gain hands-on field experience through a required practicum and internship under the supervision of licensed professional counselors.
Graduates are prepared for LMHC or LPC licensure and equipped to work in diverse settings including hospitals, schools, social service agencies, mental health centers, and substance abuse treatment clinics.
