Be prepared to make meaningful change in education leadership.
Regis College’s Doctor of Education (EdD) in Leadership prepares experienced professionals to lead through complexity, use systems thinking to address significant challenges, and turn research into action. Designed for busy working adults, the program supports scholar-practitioners who want to strengthen their leadership skills and apply evidence-based solutions in education and organizational settings.
Regis offers two pathways to support students at different stages of the doctoral journey:
- A full EdD in Leadership for students completing the doctorate from start to finish, with two specialty track options: Higher Education Leadership or Organizational Leadership.
- An EdD in Leadership | All But Dissertation (ABD) option for doctoral candidates who have completed most or all of their doctoral-level coursework and are seeking a structured, guided path to complete the Dissertation in Practice.
How does Regis College’s EdD in Leadership stand out?
- Two pathways to completion: Choose the full EdD or the ABD completion option based on where you are in your doctoral journey.
- Flexible online format for working professionals: Coursework is delivered online with virtual Saturday sessions four times per semester, plus asynchronous coursework between sessions.
- Supportive cohort model: Learn alongside a community of peers with ongoing guidance and accountability.
- Dissertation support with structure: The full EdD integrates dissertation progress throughout the curriculum, while the ABD completion option provides a course-based, chapter-by-chapter pathway to completing the Dissertation in Practice.
