March 2026

Dear Families of the Pride,

What a New England winter! We have admired our students’ resilience through the feet of snow that have fallen in such a short amount of time. Through remote classwork, rescheduled athletic and co-curricular events, and navigating campus snow removal, our students have shown us how easy it can be to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. We are so grateful!

This newsletter is purposely being sent right after midterms to discuss important upcoming dates and deadlines. As always, if there is something that you need more information or resources on, we are happy to provide it.

Academic Advising & Course Registration

Two students meeting with an advisor in the Learning Commons

Course registration for summer and fall 2026 runs Monday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 1

Students should plan to meet with their academic advisors from March 23 through March 27 to plan for their course registration.

The Finucane and O’Sullivan Institute of Learning (FOIL) team is here to help all students reach their academic goals.

Through student support coaching, content peer tutoring, and the writing center, students should take advantage of all we have to offer.

Annual Majors and Minors Fair

Majors&Minors Fair 2026

Each year, the Office of Undergraduate Advising coordinates with faculty to put on the Majors and Minors Fair. This year, the fair will take place on Tuesday, March 17 from 12:45-1:45 p.m. in the Lower Student Center. All students are encouraged to attend as they can learn more about internships, clinicals, and how to potentially work in a minor. For more information, students should contact the Office of Advising.

Connecting with Your College Student

Here are a few open-ended questions that you can consider asking your student as they prepare to return to Regis to finish up the spring semester. Remember, your goal is to listen more than talk. You don’t want them to feel smothered or under investigation. Good luck!

Now that midterm grades are posted, how are you feeling about your semester so far?
Gives them space to share both excitement and worries. It may lead to deeper conversation.

During the rest of the semester, what are you looking forward to experiencing? Is there anything you want to do differently?
Helps them focus on positives and set intentions for new experiences.

Is there anything you would like me/us to do to support you from home,  academically, socially, or emotionally?
Empowers your student and shows you respect their independence.
